AK Foundation celebrated its inaugural event by hoisting its satin white flag with bold red letters, marking the beginning of its mission to nurture rural talent in Tamil Nadu.

Details

On September 22, 2013, Dr. M.P. Kaliaperumal, Senior Consultant Professor at the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, inaugurated the event. Shri Perumal Ramasamy, Indian Athletic Coach, and Smt Kamatchi Jayakrishnan oversaw the event. 96 children from 26 districts, exclusively from government schools, participated. Transportation, meals, and mementoes were provided to all.

All India Tennis Tournament - December 27-29, 2014

Brief

The All India Tennis Tournament gathered athletic talent at the Singaram Pillai Tennis Court, with over 100 matches played over three days, celebrating sportsmanship and community.

Details

From December 27-29, 2014, Shri Kailash and Shri Perumal Ramasamy inaugurated the event. Matches spanned three days, concluding with all final participants being declared winners due to rain. Orphans from Arnold Children’s Home attended as spectators, and attendees donated generously.
